Open Day Anglo Saxon Style

Last term I set the children a tricky challenge! They were given just one week to prepare an open afternoon for their families to present their learning about their topic 'The Anglo Saxons'. The children were amazing. Fired up with motivation, they worked tirelessly (with the occasional 'nag' - I mean reminder from me!!!) The results were fantastic as you can see from this selection of photos.

Science in Class 5

As part of our topic 'Earth and Space' we have, so far this half term, had a visit from Spacelab, designed and made our own rockets, investigated gravity, air resistance and the movement of the Earth and Moon in relation to the Sun.
Almost all of the eggs survived!!!

Just a few pictures to show some of the independent learning areas for our French topic. In science we are looking at systems of the human body and nutrition.
